Glenda Sarah (Baggett) Baggett
Glenda Sarah Baggett passed away February 6, 2011 at her home near Grant, LA.

Glenda was born February 19, 1949 to her loving parents Monroe and Inez Baggett in DeRidder,
LA.

Glenda grew up at her residence and attended Sugartown and East Beauregard schools graduating from East Beauregard High School. She continued her education at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA obtaining a bachelors degree in education. She had a long career teaching special education in Cameron and Beauregard parish schools, completing with retirement after several years at the Hyatt school in Fields, LA. Many a child with special needs learned and enjoyed her great abilities in her teachings. She was an accomplished and great pianist.

Glenda is survived by her husband and best friend Greg Guillory of 25 years; her brother, Laron M. Baggett of Grant, LA; one niece LeAnn Baggett of Dry Creek, LA; one nephew, Jason M. Baggett of Rosepine, LA; a great niece and nephew Brylee and Bryten M. Cooley (her grandchildren as she called them) and so many great friends and other family.

Services will be held at Palestine Baptist Church in Grant, LA February 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. and interment in the Hamilton Cemetery, also in Grant under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of DeRidder.

She will be greatly missed as she walks the streets of Gold.
