Survivors include her son, Michael (Debra) Barron of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Tami (James) Doolittle of Little Falls, NY, Laura A. Lovelace and Sherry Fizer of Dryden; a brother, Roger (Linda) Gee of San Diego, CA; her sisters, Shirley (Robert) Simpson of Buena Vista, CO, Marilyn Bodnar of Montoursville, PA, Patricia Gee of Austin, TX, Debra (Joseph) Kosters of Apopka, FL; an uncle, Albert (Betty) Knuutila of Myrtle Beach, SC; nieces, nephews and cousins. Sandra is also survived by her former husband and father of her children, Robert Paul Barron who currently lives in Charlotte, NC. She was predeceased by her father, Charles F. Gee; and a brother-in-law, James Bodnar.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Lukasz Kozlowski officiating. Interment will be later in Quick Cemetery, Brooktondale. Friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. Friends may consider a memorial to the American Cancer Society , 13 Beech Street, Johnson City, NY 13790 or the Caring Community Hospice, 11 Kennedy Parkway, Cortland, NY 13045.
