Addis Burch Hall -MACON, GA - Mrs. Addis Burch Hall left the bonds of this life on January 2, 2009 to be with the sweetest name she knew, Jesus. Memorial services will be held Monday at 11A.M. in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. John Kinser officiating. Entombment will be private for the family only. The family will greet friends Sunday from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. The family suggests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Christ, 511 High Place, Macon, GA 31201 or to the Endowment Fund at First Presbyterian Day School, 5671 Calvin Drive, Macon, GA 31210. -Mrs. Hall was born in Laurens County, GA on May 30, 1921 to the late Belah Jordan Burch and Naomi Daniel Burch. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Joyful Sunday School Class. Prior to moving to Mobile, AL in 1970, she worked at Southern Press for about 20 years. In 1974 Curtis & Addis moved to Greenwood, S.C., where she was employed by Connie Maxwell Children's Home. Ten years later they retired back home to family in Macon where she worked several years as hostess at The Cannonball House in Macon. -Because of the finished work of Christ and her trust in Him alone, we know we will be with her again and we are grateful. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Presbyterian Village (now The Oaks at Peake) for their love and care over these last seven years.
