Born and raised in Pemberton, she was a longtime area resident before moving to California five years ago to be with her family.
Wife of the late Clifford Spencer, she is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Marin of San Rafeal, Calif., Linda Platt of Eastampton; two sons, Dwight Allen Jr. (Terry) of Virginia, Ralph Allen (Brenda) of Southampton; three stepsons, Jim Spencer (Jeannie) of Hainesport, Bob Spencer (Doreen) of Southampton, Ken Spencer (Robin) of Eastampton; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103 or the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 100 N. 17th St., 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
