PINEVILLE - Ruby Garnett Acord Whitt, 91, of Pineville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009.

A celebration of Ruby's life will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, in Calfee Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Donald "Doc" Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at the funeral home.
