Mrs. Mabel Harmon, 66, a native of Bonpas township, was found dead in bed at her home at Bradford on Saturday night, according to word received here by relatives.

Funeral services will be held at the Tiskilwa Funeral Home at Tiskilwa on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at Tiskilwa cemetery.

Mrs. Harmon was a daughter of the late John L. and Emma Jones Clodfelter. She and her family lived east of Calhoun on a farm for many years moving to northern Illinois at Bradford in 1943.

She was a member of the Otterbein EUB church in Bonpas township.

Her husband, Vern, passed away a few months ago.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Betty) Crews and Mrs. Leslie (Irene) Wooden, both of Tiskilwa; and three sons, Leslie and Loren of Tiskilwa, and Walter of Bradford. Seventeen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren survive, along with a brother, Omer Clodfelter of Tiskilwa. Mrs. Josephine Harmon of Olney is a daughter-in-law.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a sister.

A son, Lowell, was killed in World War II.
