She was preceded in death by her husband Tony Arena and her granddaughter Jeana Sharpe. Her favorite pastimes were to be at the beach with her family, work in her yard, and play cards with friends.
Gen is survived and loved by her two daughters, Marilyn White and her husband Spencer and Sherry Ritter and her husband Jim; three granddaughters, Stacey Stanley and her husband Brian, Jessica Holmes and her husband Joey, and Toni Budaus and her husband Matt; three great granddaughters, Hannah Stanley, Madelyn Budaus, and Isabella Holmes; and two sisters, Joyce Wilson and Marie Fourt.
