MARIAN LOUISE (KIRCH) DAY: Age 92, of Pomona, died Feb. 2, 2011, at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana. She was born Aug. 7th, 1918 in Glen Rock, NJ and lived in Pomona for 61 years. She worked as a homemaker and nurse at Casa Colina Hospital for 19 years and was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Pomona. Her hobbies & interests were knitting, braiding rugs, and family get-togethers. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara J. Morris of Bend, OR; sons, Doug D. Day of Temecula, Bruce C. Day of Meridian, ID, Steve P. Day of Phelan, and Tom M. Day of Upland; sister, Evelyn Vaughan of San Fernando Valley; 17 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Day, in 1997. A Visitation Service will be conducted 4-8 P.M., Mon., Feb. 7th at Todd Memorial Chapel. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tues., Feb 8th at Todd Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Pomona Valley Memorial Park. Marian came to know Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior in 2009, and now she has joined Him in heaven. Published in Inland Valley Daily Bulletin on February 6, 2011.
