GAFFNEY, SC -- Kathy E. Rudisail Garner, 47, of 700 Lyman Street, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 2, 2006 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Boyd Rudisail and Lynette Spencer Rudisail of Gaffney and wife of Donald E. Garner. She was a retired Assistant Cafeteria Manager at Gaffney Senior High School and was a former member of West End Baptist Church and current member of North Point Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, also surviving is one son, Matthew R. Garner of the home; one brother, Steven B. Rudisail of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Janice R. Brittain of Shelby, NC; two nieces, Amanda Brittain of Shelby, NC and Emily Mackey of Virginia Beach, VA; one nephew, Brian T. Brittain, also of Shelby; and a father-in-law, Ralph Garner of Gaffney. Mrs. Garner was preceded in death by a stepson, Jason Garner.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2006 at West End Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jack Phillips and Dr. M. B. Morrow, Jr. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
