Harold Stroh Killed in Action
Harold Stroh, radarman 2/c, USNR, 22 years old, was killed in action in the service of his county his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Stroh of 401 10th street were informed this week by the navy department.
Stroh had served for two years with the navy, participating in battle action in the South Pacific, and being stationed in Australia and New Guineu. He graduated from Greeley high school and for a time was employed by local produce houses. Stroh was engaged to a Miami, Fla., girl.
Survivors [now deceased] include: 3 sisters, Helen Jean and Mrs. Lea Nazarenus of Greeley, and Mrs. Leta Hoffsmith of Denver.
