Pete "P.J." Stoll, 88, Greeley, died Sunday, Oct. 26, at his home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1898, to Fred and Katherina (Fromm) Stoll Sr. in Remmenna, Russia.
Mr. Stoll moved to the United States in 1906 and settled in Cumberville, Mich., where he lived for a year. He then moved to Windsor, where he lived for two years before returning to Russia for three years. He returned to Windsor in May 1912, and moved to Greeley in 1926. He operated Shorty's Market and Western Wholesale Produce until 1947. He then became a real estate broker and established Stoll's Realty, which developed Meadowlark Subdivision in west Greeley.
He was a member of Elks, Moose Lodge, and Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Survivors are two daughters; a son; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
