Mrs. Maynor was born June 29, 1920 in Harnett County, a daughter of the late Mr. Arbie Chance and Zula Chance. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Delbert Maynor, sister Alease Chance, and four brothers, Freddie Chance, Johnny Chance, Roy Chance, and Stephen Chance.
She is survived by her daughters, Zula Parker and Lola Saunders and husband Sherman, her son Ronnie Maynard and wife Carolyn. Her sister Lottie Chance, two brothers, Floyd Chance and wife Delphia and Bobby Chance and wife Kathy. She also is survived by a multitude of Nieces, Nephews, and cousins, as well as eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Addie was a member of Gods Little Chapel Church; she was an avid cook and gardner; and most importantly, a wonderful mother.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, at 2 p.m. at Colonial Heights Baptist Church, by the Rev. David Jones. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
