Charles E. ANDERSON, 73, of 18 W. Main St., Glenwood, Ill., died at 8:15 a.m. Thursday in his summer home at Lake Bruce.

He was born Feb. 1, 1915 in Chicago Heights, Ill., to Charles and Lelah McLAIN ANDERSON. He was married May 31, 1941 in Marietta, Ohio to Frances BORTRAM, who survives. He was a retired custodian with Brookwood School in Glenwood.

Surviving with the wife are two daughters, Charlene FLAMINI, Schaumburg, Ill., and Judith REYNOLDS, Chicago Heights; two sons, James ANDERSON, Schaumburg, and Charles A. ANDERSON, Steger, Ill.; four grandchildren; a brother, Harry ANDERSON, Arizona, and five sisters, Alice OLAH, Arizona; Mary Jane MATHIAS, Joliet, Ill.; Lelah MANGUNO, Florida; Mabel DIONNE, South Chicago Heights, and Margaret THUNHORST, Crete, Ill. Two brothers preceded in death.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lake Bruce. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday.
