He was born April 12, 1902 in Granville to J. R. and Sarah Herbert Middleton. He was a retired guard at the Woodbourne Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Middleton is survived by two sons, Robert of Newburgh and John of Atlantic Beach, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Charles of Johnstown; six grandchildren.
The Rev. Fred Nold, chaplain of the Woodbourne Rehabilitation Center will officiate at services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Van Inwegen-Gray Funeral Home, 195 Broadway, Monticello. Burial will be in Grahamsville Cemetery.
