Dazzie Richardson who was lovingly known to her family and friends as "Mama Jack," age 86, of Florence, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009, in the chapel of Elkins Funeral Home, Florence, with Brother H. Melton officiating. The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Garden.
Mrs. Richardson is survived by her children, Nell M. Morris, Paul Vanderford, Aubrey P. Richardson Jr. (Joanne) and Linda R. Peacock; grandchildren, Larry Dean Cook Jr. (Anne), Jeanna M. Dinan (William), Michael P. Vanderford (Stephanie), Timothy B. Vanderford (Angela), Aubrey P. Richardson III, Ryan K. Richardson; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Carvel E. Horton (Donnie); numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Tennessee Valley Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to their favorite charity.
