Ernest C. Conner Sr.
Eufaula, Ala. - Ernest Corker Conner Sr. died Saturday at Russell Hospital in Alexander City. He lived in Eufaula and was 67 years of age.
The funeral will be today at First Baptist Church in Eufaula with burial at Fairview Cemetery Addition.
Mr. Conner, the son of H.H. and Kathleen Conner, was born Jan. 13, 1925 in Eufaula. He was a 1942 graduate of Eufaula High School, a veteran of World War II, and earned a bachelor's degree in agriculture in 1949 from Auburn University. He was a life member of Sigma Nu fraternity and was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Eufaula. He was a deacon, past Gideon, and member of the Brotherhood Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church.
