Roy Lee Barbee, aged 34, died in St. Peter's hospital yesterday morning from a fractured skull caused by falling down a flight of stairs on West Tenth street last Tuesday.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jessie Scarborough; two children, Regina and Roy Lee Barbee, Jr.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Barbee of Stanfield; four brothers, Clyde Barbee of this city, Joe and John Barbee of Monroe and Homer Barbee of Stanfield; and two sisters, Mrs. T. C. Love of this city, and Mrs. Wade H. Love of Stanfield.
Mr. Barbee was equipment manager for the Sinclair Refining company in this city. He was a member of Belmont Park Methodist church.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at Belmont Park Methodist church with the pastor, Rev. E. M. Jones, officiating.
