Age 95, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011, with her family at her side.
Mrs. Eaton was born in Mardela Springs, MD on April 18, 1915, the daughter of Louis and Linda Bradley. She graduated from the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing on September 4, 1939. She was a private duty nurse for many years.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Ellen) Eaton, Mary Ann (Ray) Sokola and Gail (Bill) Jones; and her grandchildren, Griffin and Mary Elizabeth Eaton, Bradley Sokola and Amy and Jenna Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl G. Eaton
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 7 at 11 am, in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. Dupont Hwy, New Castle, DE where friends may visit with the family from 10:30-11 am. Burial will be in the adjoining memorial park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Winterthur Museum, 5105 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE 19735. Arrangements by
