In loving memory of our father, Leslie J. Herbert, who has went to heaven to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 28, 2011. He is preceded in Heaven by our mother Janice A. Bohman whom we are quite sure is delighted to see him. Also his parents Don and Christina Herbert, brothers and sisters, grandchild, and some of his friends. He is survived by his children, daughter, Teresa (Tim) Lee ID; daughter, Brenda (Dario) Cairoli Roosevelt, UT; son, Barry Herbert, Roosevelt, UT; daughter, Denice (Mohamed) Saibo West Jordan, UT; daughter, Gayleen Bridwell, West Jordan, UT; daughter, Charyel (Rick) Flanders Taylorsville, UT; also 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brother and sisters, many family members and lots of friends. Though our Dad will be missed dearly we have the comfort in our hearts and the promise from the Lord our Savior that we are saved by his Grace. Our Dad believed in Jesus and he never questioned his salvation in Christ. He knew that he was going to heaven and that he would stand in the presence of his God. He lived a life full of traveling, he loved his children, he loved horses, western movies and he was a strong man and he was as tough as nails. He worked hard and loved life. He was a true cowboy and some say that he had true grit. In the end he was full of love for everyone, he had a gentle spirit and a loving touch for his children. But most of all he loved God and he wanted to go home....and he did. In respect for our father's last wishes there will be no services held. You may contact the family. We love you so much and we will miss you greatly Dad. We are so happy and grateful in our hearts that you are with the Lord and that you are finally home. Psalms 73:26 - My flesh and heart may fail and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Until the day breaks and we see you again.
