Hugh Morris Thompson, 56, of Route 3, Lynchburg, died Tuesday, April 5, 1988, at his home.
Born in Stafford County, he was a son of the late Vilous H. Thompson and Ida Niday Thompson. He was a former employee of the J. A. Vaughan Co. in Richmond and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by four sons, Mark Hugh Thompson, Allen Kim Thompson and Gary Hugh Thompson, all of Lynchburg, and Mark H. Thompson, Richmond; two daughters*, Lisa Ann Thompson, Lynchburg, and Cheryl Thompson, Richmond; a brother, Ralph D. Thompson, Concord; and two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Jean) Tyree and Mrs. John (Mary Lou) Guill, both of Lynchburg.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
