He was married to Anna Elizabeth MacKay(dau. of Eugene D., & N. Cathern(Allen)MacKay) at Douglass on Dec. 25, 1933. He was an employee of the Butler County Highway Dept. His son David of Burden, KS. Three daughters: Nancy Lou Bates of Fort Richardson, Alaska, Mrs. Dorma Jean Voigt of Garden Valley, CA., and Mrs. Judity A. Basquez of Oilton, OK.. He died of cancer. Not sure if Anna is buried in Douglass, or Augusta. Anna's parents are buried at Douglass, so I assume, she is as well? There are 4 markers, mom always said it was Lance, and 3 of his children?
