Earl C. Snyder, Radio Technician
Earl C. Snyder, 76, of 925 Park Ave., Columbia, died Tuesday morning at the Columbia Hospital following a brief illness.
He was the husband of Hilda Shultz Snyder. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Christian and Anna Hirnisey Snyder.
He was a retired self-employed radio and television technician and was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church, Columbia and a 50 year member of the Columbia Lodge 286, Free and Accepted masons. He was also a member of Corinthian Royal Arch Chapter 224, Columbia; the Cyrene Commandery 34 Knights Templar; and the Columbia Artisans Lodge.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Nancy Jo, wife of Jay H. Lutz, Columbia; and two granddaughters.
SNYDER - Entered into rest in Columbia, Pa., on June 26, 1984, EARL C. SNYDER, husband of Hilda Shultz Snyder, of 925 Park Ave., Columbia, Pa., in his 77th year. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut Street, Columbia, Pa., on Thursday at 2PM with the Reverend Edward C. Harshburger officiating. Interment in Mt. Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kraft Funeral Home on Thursday from 1PM until the time of service. The family requests that flowers be omitted, Contributions may be in Mr. Snyder's memory to the Meals on Wheels Program, in care of St. John's Lutheran Church, 6th and Locust Streets, Columbia, 17512.
