Mrs. L. H. Brentlinger, 43, succumbs to illness; funeral to be on Tues,
Mrs. Mary Mabel Kiser Brentlinger, 43, wife of Lanford H. Brentlinger, was claimed by death at her home 705 W South Street late Saturday evening following a five week illness of complications.
Death brought to close her long and active life as a devoted wife and mother and brought sorrow to her wide circle of friends and relatives who mourn deeply her passing.
Funeral rites have been arranged for Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o/clock from the St. Paul's Church with the Rev. R. Wobus officiating at the service. Burial will be made in the Pearl Cemetery at Swanders.
Friends may call at the Brentlinger residence this evening and Tuesday until the hour of the funeral.
Mr. Brentlinger was an active member of the St. Paul's Church and was also enrolled as a member of the Kings Daughter's circle of that church.
She was born at Swanders December 14, 1898, the daughter of D.G and Kathryn Kiser and both of her parents mourn her passing.
She was untied in marriage July 31, 1920 to Lanford H. Brentinger, and he survives with four children: Lanford Jr., of Wapakoneta; Mary Kathryn, James Grant and Richard Joseph all at home.
One daugher died in infancy. Six brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. J. W. Beaman, Louisville, KY; Charles William Kiser; Phoenix, Arizona Seaman First Class Frank L. Kiser, destroyer base San Diego, Calif; Edwin Kiser of Sidney; Mrs. Norman Chenoweth, St. Louis, MO; Miss Patcine Kiser, Dayton.
With the exception of nine years residence in Wapakoneta, Mrs Brentlinger spent her entire life in Shelby County.
