The Chico Record, Thursday Morning, December 7, 1922, pg 1 col 7: Rolin Thomas McKinney Dies in Oroville Tuesday. Rolin Thomas McKinney, a resident of Chico for more than fifteen years, died at his home in Oroville, where he had resided for the past six months, Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was a native of Iowa and was 79 years old.

Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Dora McKinney of Oroville; four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Gurney of Honcut, Mrs. Della Austin of Alleganey, Mrs. Reta Dove of Oroville and Mrs. Violet Bickford of Oroville and two sons, Jason McKinney and Robert McKinney, both of Chico.

The funeral services will be conducted from the Hamilton and Riley undertaking parlors in Oroville at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon. Interment will be made in the Chico cemetery the services being conducted at the grave side about 3 o'clock. Arrangements for the services at the grave are in charge of Bicknell and Moore.
