Mrs E. Burrows Dies; Funeral Services Today
Mrs. Frances [sic] A Burrows, 98, of 893 N. Third, died Sunday in a local hospital. She had been a Las Cruces resident for the past 10 years.
Her funeral service was to be held at 3 p.m. today in the Graham Mortuary chapel. Rev. Joe Morman, First Baptist Church, and Rev. Ronal D Herring, Calvary Baptist church, were to officiate. Burial was to be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Burrows is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. C. Stidhim, Las Cruces, and Mrs. Charles Whirlow, Electra, Tex.; three sons, William R. Gossage, San Diego; Forrest Gossage, Washington, D.C., and Henry Gossage, Quanah, Tex; 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Bailey, Paul Scott, John Owens, Hugh Whitfield, Robbie Cox and Eddy Polston.
