Services for Gary Fleming Thompson, 64, Silver Springs who died in Ocala Tueday will be at 11 am today in the Bardin Cemetery with Rev John Strickland officiating.

Mr Thompson a former resident of Palatka had been with the city of Ocala as a linesman for the past 8 years.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs Annie L Thompson , Silver Springs; six stepsons and two step daughters.

Johnson Davis Funeral home is in Charge.

Word was received by Mrs. Edward Hudson on Tuesday of last week that her step-grandfather, Gary Fleming Thompson (1902-1958), had died that morning. She and her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Ormond of Gainesville, went to Silver Springs and brought their grandmother, Mrs. Gary Fleming Thompson, back with them. Mrs. Tnompson stayed over till Saturday. Mr. Thompson was buried in the Bardin Cemetery last Friday morning. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Friday, 24 Oct 1958.
