Martin William 'Bill' Reifsteck, 77, Altoona, died Thurs., Feb. 3, 2011 at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg. He was born in Altoona to Martin Roy & Sara (Mock) Reifsteck. He married JoAnn Greiner on Dec. 22, 1959, in Altoona. Survived by wife; sister, Patricia Pine of Altoona; brothers: Bob & wife, Sally, of Altoona and Marvin & wife, Cathy, of Allensville; sister, Jean White & husband, Lamar, in Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister, Hilda Gutshall. Bill was a 1951 graduate of Altoona High School and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict. He retired in 1996 from the Electrical Equipment Dept. of Penelec after 34 years of service. Bill was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church. He also was a member of Hiram Lodge 616, F&AM, the Jaffa Shrine, where he belonged to the Greeters, and the Jaffa Horseshoe Curve Hillbilly Clan 74. He was a former member of the Bellwood Beagle Club. He enjoyed hunting, bowling and fishing. Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Altoona. Interment, Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
