Thelma G. 'Girlie' (Dodson) Tomasetti, 92, Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, died Thurs., Feb. 3, 2011 at the home. She was born in Altoona to Elmer S. & Minnie C. (Lafferty) Dodson. She married Paul L. Tomasetti on Nov. 29, 1939, in Altoona and he died June 20, 1988. Survived by daughters: Paula J. 'Penny' Lafferty; Cheryl A. Fleck and Debra S. (Richard) Picano, all of Altoona, and Michele L. Tomasetti, of State College; son, Daniel P. Tomasetti, of Altoona; son-in-law, Jerry Fleck; grandsons: Michael P. Fleck (Kristina Smith), of Gettysburg and Ryan P. Fleck (Frances Crust), of Altoona; 5 gr. grandchildren: Jonah R., Luke M., Olivia N., Sophia R. and Gabriel A. Fleck; and a brother-in-law, Ernest Tomassetti. Predeceased by brothers: Alvin and Elmer Dodson; sister, Mildred Dodson; and son-in-law, Robert Lafferty. Thelma previously had worked at Faith Vending and Puritan Sportswear. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was a past member of Christian Mothers. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking and cooking a variety of ethnic foods. Thelma also enjoyed bingo, going to DelGrosso's Amusement Park and spending time with her family and many good friends.
