OBITUARY: Elmer B. Donaway - Millville - Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Powellville Cemetery for Elmer B. Donaway, 78, of Millville. He died Wednesday in Beebe Hospital, Lewes, of cancer. Donaway retired as a pipefitter for the Sun Shipbuilding Co., Chester, Pa., in 1970. His survivors include his wife, Carrie E. Donaway; one son, Charles M. Donaway and his wife, Norma, Millville; one daughter, Carolyn E. Lambrecht and her husband, Dennis, Reston, Va.; his stepmother, Dollie Wilkins, Powellville; one brother, Howard Donaway, Chester, Pa.,; three half-brothers, George and Franklin Donaway of Salisbury, and Walter Donaway, Powellville; one half-sister, Doris D. Trader, Snow Hill; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Melson Funeral Home, Frankford, one hour prior to the service. The family suggests that as a tribute to the memory of the deceased, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Railroad Avenue and Depot Street, Georgetown, 19947.
