VERNON - In proud and loving memory of William Wood (Billy) Vernon, Second Lieutenant, 4th Connaught Rangers, killed in action on the Somme, 9th July, 1916; also George "Mostyn" Vernon, R.M.A., H.M.A., Agincourt, who died 21st September, 1921, at Meath Hospital, Dublin, from illness contracted on active service, third and fourth dearly loved sons of the late St. George J. Vernon, Bank of Ireland, Westport, and the late Mrs. Vernon, 17, Claremont Road, Sandymount.
