Funeral services for David Scheidt, 419 7th St., will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at St. Paul’s Congregational Church, with interment to follow in Linn Grove Cemetery. Macy Allnutt is in charge of arrangements.

Scheidt died Friday, May 4, at Birch Avenue Manor where he had been a patient only a short time. He was 72.
Born in New Wymer, Russia, May 17, 1900, he came to Colorado with his parents in 1905, and moved to the Greeley area in 1919, where he worked for Great Western Sugar Co., and on local farms. He married Mollie Eckhardt in Greeley, Dec. 23, 1924.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Congregational Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Mrs. Mollie Scheidt, are three sons, Emanuel, Harry and Clarence Scheidt, all of Greeley; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Rodgers of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Lydia Dinges of Pierce; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Two sons preceded him in death.
Also surviving are seven brothers and sisters, Mrs. Katherine Kahl, Mrs. Katie Foss, Mrs. Pauline May and Henry Scheidt, all of Greeley, Mrs. Mary Hellmuth and Mrs. Rachel Miller, both of Fort Morgan, and Mrs. Helen McKinney of Massachusetts.
