Jacob Heberlein, 80, farmer in this area for many years, died suddenly Saturday afternoon at his home. He and Mrs. Katherine Shriner of Loveland were married Thursday evening.

Born March 24, 1880, at Walter, Russia, Heberlein had lived in the Greeley community since 1913. His first wife, Katherine Margaret, whom he married in 1905, died Sept. 20, 1950.

Besides his wife, Heberlein is survived by five children, Mrs. Molly Hoffman of Greeley, Mrs. Martha Lockman of Denver, George Heberlein and Mrs. Freida Trimble, both of Ault, and Mrs. Linda Schmidt of Wiggins; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

A son, Jake, died in June, 1956.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday from St. Paul's Congregational church, with interment at Linn Grove. Macys is in charge of arrangements.
