Paul T. Rogers, 77, of 4205 Hoagland Ave. died at 4:30 p.m. yesterday in Lutheran Hospital, where he had been a patient three weeks.
A veteran of World War I, he retired from the Wabash Railroad in 1960 after 37 years service. He was a member of American Legion Post 47, the Forty and Eight, DAV Chapter 1, and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Surviving are his wife, Rose, two sons, Kenneth, of Ft. Wayne, and Delbert, Irvine, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Elzey Home for Funerals, Waynedale, with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Calling will be at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
The Rev. Dale Hoak will officiate.
