DEATH OF MRS. PETER J. JOHNSON
Mrs. Peter J. Johnson of Butler, Minn., passed away at St. James Hospital at Perham, Minn., on November 28, 1924.
Margaret Johnson was born in Denmark on December 24, 1859, being at the time of her death 64 years, 11 months and 4 days old. She came with her husband to Butler, Minn., from Denmark in 1885, having resided there since. She leaves to mourn her death a husband, Peter J. Johnson, and ten children namely: Mrs. Geo. C. McGuire, of Cass Lake; Hans, of Dover, Idaho; Chris, of Cass Lake; Henry of Miles City, Montana; Henry E. Nelson, of Sebeka, and Miss Anna, at home. She also leaves behind 19 grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers.
Interment was made at the Hillview cemetery Tuesday, December 2, the funeral services being held at two o'clock in the afternoon.
Rev. A. Tassler delivered the funeral sermon and a large number of friends attended. The family will have the deep sympathy of all their friends in the loss of a beloved wife and mother.
She is buried in Hillview Cemetery in Hillview with her husband Peter Jorgen Johnson. A medium headstone with JOHNSON and two marked graves Peter J 1860-1952 and Margaret 1859-1924.
