Obit of Jessie Della Waldron - "Funeral for Mrs. Jessie Della Waldron, 94, Minco, were held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 28 (1979)in Minco Assembly of God Church. Officiating was Rev. Clyde Ventris, Pastor of Steckey Assembly of God Church, assisted by Rev. Ray Cook, Minco pastor. Mrs. Waldron was born February 25, 1885, in Pope County, Ark. She died Wednesday, December 16 (1979) in Tuttle Nursing Home. A housewife, she was married to Robert Waldron on Sept. 6, 1906 at Dover, Ark. Her husband preceded her in death, as did two daughters, Lola Martin and Sue Waldron. A resident of Minco since 1932, Mrs. Waldron was a member of Missionary Baptist Chruch. She is survived by four sons, Ed Waldron of Plainview, Ark., Clarence Waldron of Minco, Burl Waldron of Kingburn, Calif., and Calvin Waldron of Tuttle, four daughters, Mrs. Thelma (Velma) Myers of Alma, Ark., Mrs. Irene Lumpkin of Minco, Mrs. Lester (Grace) Lumpkin of Tillimook, Ore., and Mrs. Floyd (Vera) Collins of Minco, a sister, Mrs. Ethel Hale of Russellville, Ark., 22 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.Mrs. Carolyn Osborn accompanied at the piano as she and Ray Ventris sang "When the Roll is Call Up Yonder" and "Shall We Gather at the River."Pallbearers were Curtis Mitchum, Robery (Robert) Wynn, Marshall Key, Don Coy, Joe Coy and Hoyad Rush.Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco."
