Willie was on his way to church he was 4 miles East of Childress on Highway No 5, when the wagon he was driving was struck by a car. When the car struck the wagon W.W. Sparkman was thrown from the wagon and killed. W.W. Sparkman was killed instanly and his skull was crushed. Signed by J. H. Callaway J.P. Childress, TX. His father George Washington Sparkman was the informant on the Texas death certificate. The man who killed him was a Mr. Porter.
