YAKIMA - Marvin "Bob" Carlson passed away at Landmark Care Center in Yakima on March 25, 2010. He was born July 15, 1919 in Yakima, WA to Albin and Emma (Lovestrand) Carlson. He is survived by his two daughters Charlotte (Fred) Montgomery of Yakima and Beverly (Barry) Eben of Seattle, five grandchildren, Lisa, Adriann, Lauren, Ellen and Brice, and three great grandchildren. His brother Russell Carlson and sister Doris Kelly also survive him as well as sisters-and brother-in law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, and his parents.

Bob was a loving, faithful husband, father, grandfather and friend. His gentle manner, patience, kindness, and quiet sense of humor touched all who knew him. He appreciated hard work, had many skills and talents, and took pride in the land he farmed. He enjoyed being part of a community of family, his church, friends and neighbors. Bob was respectful of all people he met and was well-loved in return.
