Rene R. Hiquet, 71, of Dudley, died Sunday, April 20, 1986 at the J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. Born April 23, 1914 at Hopewell, R.D., he was the son of Alexander Joseph and Alice (Ooghe) Hiquet. On Oct. 22, 1938 at the Dudley Parish office, he was united in marriage to Anna Mary Conley by the Rev. Fr. Houghton. His wife survives along with three children: Geraldine at home; James of Dudley and Mrs. Renee Putt of Broad Top City. Two granddaughters preceded him in death. A brother, Ralph of Hopewell also survives. One brother preceded him in death. He worked for the Nellotire Construction Company and as a projectionist at the Realty Theatre in Robertsdale. He also worked as a projectionist in Williamsburg and was a farmer for several years. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Dudley. The Rev. Fr. Joseph J. Bender will be the celebrant. Interment will be made in the Ava Maria Cemetery, Dudley.
