OBITUARY
The Rochester Sentinel

Tuesday, July 11, 1950

Earl E. BRADWAY, 65, well-known resident of Akron, died suddenly at 4 p.m. Monday while transacting business in the Akron Telephone Co. offices. His death was attributed to heart seizure.

For over 20 years Mr. Bradway was in charge of the sub-station for the Public Service Co. of Indiana, at Akron; later he was transferred to a similar post at Spencer, Ind., where he served for ten years. He retired about ten months ago and returned to Akron to make his home.

A native of Fulton county, Mr. Bradway was born in Akron on August 17, 1885. His parents were Lewis and Arretta BROKAW BRADWAY. He was married to Clio KREIGHBAUM on March 8, 1911. Mr. Bradway was a member of the Modern Woodmen's Order, the Akron Lions Club and was secretary of the Akron Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Harry "Tedgie" BRADWAY, of Akron; William BRADWAY, of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Arthur NYE, of South Bend; two half-sisters, Mrs. Delta ACHEY and Mrs. Harry BURDGE, both of Akron, and a half-brother, Glen AULT, also of Akron.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Moyer-Haupert Funeral Home, Akron. Rev. D. L. SLAYBAUGH will officiate and burial will be in the Akron cemetery. The body will be taken to the Bradway home 10 a.m. Wednesday where friends may call up until 10 a.m. Thursday when it will be taken to the funeral home.
