Mrs. Anna Elizabeth (Harter) Cox, 69, mother of a local resident, died Tuesday, May 31, 1983, in her home at Union Mills, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Howard County. Her marriage was in 1934, in Fillmore, IN, to Edwin Howard Cox; he survives.
Mrs. Cox was a member of New Brunswick Church of Christ, Burlington Order of Eastern Star, Union Mills Indiana Point Garden Club, and Noble Township Fire Department Auxiliary.
Surviving with her husband are a son, Edwin Cox of West Lafayette; four daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Garrison of Russiaville, Mrs. Inga Randal of Lebanon, Mrs. Esther Smiley of Brownsburg, and Mrs. JoAnna Collins of Snellville, GA; and her father, Charles Harter of Flora.
