My mother was the daughter of Clora And Peter Haggerty. Her name is Ladonna Marie Haggerty Buscher. She was born September 1, 1942 and died February 16, 1994. She is buried in Resurrection cemetery in Jefferson City Mo.
She had more than the (2) daughters listed here (Mother Virginia Margaret and Mary Catherine Haggerty) 1st child was Oscar Hairl Haggerty (family called him Harold) b. 2-13-2921 d. 7-28-1921 age 6 mo 15 days. Death cert states `dysentery' cause of death.
2nd child Virginia Margaret Haggerty b. Jan 24, 1923 d. My 29, 1949 she died of puerperal peritonitis or child bed fever after birth of her only child Ronald Straatman - husband Arthur Straatman.
3rd child Mary Katherine b Oct 8, 1924 d. May 11, 1939 cause of death `double pneumonia' (she had pneumonia a few weeks before a dance in Vienna, Mo, begged and begged her parents to join Virginia, she'd be ok. They gave in, within a week or two she died of double pneumonia!
My father Wm. Victor Gray lived down the lane and saw Mary Katherine breath her lasts breath. So sad.
