Ardeth A. Roxberry, 76, of State Route 3005, Kennerdell, died Monday, April 26, 2004, at her residence.
Born July 9, 1927, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Harry E. and Leah McElhaney, and was the last surviving member of the McElhaney
family.
She attended Franklin High School.
Mrs. Roxberry attended the Rankin Chapel United Methodist Church, Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.
She was a devoted housewife and mother.
Mrs. Roxberry was married July 15, 1944, to Donald M. Roxberry, who died Jan. 4, 2001.
Surviving are three daughters, Deanna Walter of Franklin, Mrs. William L. (H. Jane) McFadden of Kennerdell and Mrs. Henry (Rose M.) Murrietta
of Arizona; one son and his wife, Donald M. "Rocky" and Julie Roxberry of Oklahoma; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three
stepgrandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Roxberry was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Rubiann McFadden and B.F. "Pete" Adams II.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Stephanie Thompson, pastor of the Barkeyville United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in the Calvert-Riddle Cemetery, Clinton Township, Venango County.
The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Rankin Chapel United Methodist Church, in care of Clintonville Grace United
