She was born to Lowell Andrew Adkins and Florence Harkins Adkins on 7-9-31 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She was a graduate of Wetumka High School. Freda married Duane Griggs in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on 9-4-50. Freda was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Freda is survived by one brother, Raymond Dale Adkins and wife Joan of Santa Maria, California; three children, Cheryl Frazier and her spouse Monty of Grand Prairie, Texas, Terry Wade Griggs and his spouse Cindy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Randy A. Griggs of San Antonio, Texas. Survivors also include five grandchildren, Amy Funk, Walter Griggs, Crystal Miller, Baily Griggs, Luke Frazier and three great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and family members.Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Williamson Funeral Home, Wetumka, OK.
