His second wife was Susanna Polly Erway. They were married in 1892 at Des Moines, Washington.
While he was a resident of Fox lake, Wisconsin, he enlisted in the Co. B., 48th Wisconsin Infantry on Feb. 8, 1865.
He died of Endocarditis.
