Obituary of Mrs. Sarah Heifner
Mrs. Sarah Heifner nee Lutz was born in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, Feb. 22,1845, died March 27, 1908, aged 63 years, 1 month and 6 days.

At the age of 5 years she came with her parents to Ashland county, they settling in Milton township. Mrs. Heifner was united in marriage to Hyman L. Heifner Nov. 15, 1874; to this union was born two sons and four daughters. With these to mourn her departure are two grandchildren, one sister and one brother, besides many friends and relatives. Mr. Heifner preceded her in death some four
year ago. Mrs. Heifner has been a constant sufferer for many years, the last six months of which she has been helpless, but was tenderly cared for by the loving hands of dear ones. She was a patient sufferer and never murmured nor complained. As a mother she was loving, considerate and devoted, counting no sacrifice too dear for those she loved. And in many hearts besides those who were the nearest to her she will be remembered with the kindest of thoughts for being kind to all she won
the esteem of many. As a Christian, the last few months of her life was devoted to much prayer and
was solicitous of the eternal welfare of all. Three months previous to her death she renewed her consecration to God and united with the Evangelical church of Ashland. In her intense suffering she found great comfort in her Christ, whose presence was a great blessing and helped her to bear her suffering with patience and fortitude.
We bow in humble submission to Him in whose wisdom and judgment he saw best to remove a loved one from the earthly ties and united her with the soul of her
departed husband and together await the home-coming of their loved ones at the Pearly Gates of the Eternal City.
