PATRICIA LOUISE (BALLARD) BATSON

Patricia Louise (Ballard) Batson, 72, Aurora, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, in Freeman Hospital, Joplin.

She was born June 25, 1938, in Aurora to Fenton and Mabel Ballard. She married Glen H. Batson Nov. 16, 1953, in Aurora. He preceded her in death.

She was a retired school bus driver.

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Owens, Webb City, and Glenda Hudson, Aurora; three brothers, Bob Ballard, Nixa, Bill Ballard, Aurora, and Larry Ballard, Ozark; two sisters, June McCaleb,, Jefferson, Texas, and Helen Benson, Springfield; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Mitchell and Timothy; and one brother, Charles.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora, under the direction of Peterson Funeral Chapel, Aurora. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, in the funeral chapel
