SET FOR SATURDAY
Services for Herbert John Tschappler, 55, who died of a heart attack Monday morning while hunting deer with his son, Roy Tschappler, in the Sacramento mountains, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. H.C. Gaertner, Jr., Lutheran pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery, with West's Funeral Home in charge.
Tschappler, a well-known carpenter here for the past 25 years, is survived by his wife and two sons, Roy and Sammy Tschappler, all of La Huerta; two brothers, Ernest Tschappler, Morrison, Mo., and Oscar Tschappler, St. Louis, Mo.; and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Swinke, Morrison, Mo., and Mrs. Alvena Brown, Paducah, Ky.
