Jennie Mae Ditty, 94, of Oblong died Saturday morning, Nov. 27, 1999, in Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
She was born May 2, 1905, in Bement to Elias Benjamin Richards and Fannie Mae Hall Richards.
Her husband, Jesse Ditty Sr., died May 11, 1974. Survivors include one (step)son, Jesse Ditty Jr.; one (step)daughter, Veta Maxine Mahon; two sisters, Mildred McCleave and Ada Souders; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Elias Benjamin Richards and Fannie Mae Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Evelyn Louise, four sons, eight brothers and two sisters.
She was a dear mother to the children of her husband and his late first wife, who died when the children were small.
