Herman F. Bruhn
Lorain-Herman F. Bruhn, 71, died Saturday in his home, 1018 Second St., following an illness of four years. He was born in Germany and came to the United States at the age of three. He had lived in Lorain since 1906.
Mr. Bruhn was a pipe fitter at the American Ship Building Co., Lorain yards for 42 years and also worked for Local 120 for five yars. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Eagles Lodge 343 and Local 120, construction workers.
Mr. Bruhn's wife, Augusta, died in 1952. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Ralph Schroeder, Lorain; a grandson and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Schwartz-Spence Home for Funerals after 7 p.m. today. Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Donald Yaekle will officate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery
