Daughter of Esther Zook and John Hoover, wife of Green Matson West (married 3/1865 in Appanoose, Co, IA). They had at least 11 children. Her mother died shortly after her birth and she was sent to IA and raised by maternal grandmother Elizabeth Zook (FAG 44221178). She was the sister of Dr Abraham Hoover (FAG # 70412038) and Dr Jonas Hoover (FAG # 70412051).
Her stone lists DOD as 1915, but her death certificate says 1916.
Also,the stone & death certificate put her birth in 1839 - which would conflict with her brother Jonas - On the census records between 1850-1870 they have her birth in 1842-1843.
